Students will be graded equally on Character* and Achievement using the following rubric:

Class E (90%) G (80%) S (70%) N (<70%)
Character
All Specials Classes Student shows good character ALL of the time.  Student is attentive, responsible, enthusiastic, compassionate, etc. Student shows good character most of the time. Student shows good character some of the time. Student rarely shows good character.
Achievement
Art Student shows exceptional growth, learning, improvement, completion, creativity, originality, work habits and effort. Student shows good growth, learning, improvement, completion, creativity, originality, work habits and effort. Student shows some growth, learning, improvement, completion, creativity, originality, work habits and effort. Student shows little growth, learning, improvement, completion, creativity, originality, work habits and effort.
Music Student demonstrates exceptional effort knowledge of music through rhythm, participation, movement and technique. Student demonstrates good effort knowledge of music through rhythm, participation, movement and technique. Student demonstrates some effort knowledge of music through rhythm, participation, movement and technique. Student demonstrates minimal effort knowledge of music through rhythm, participation, movement and technique.
PE
*Students are not graded on athletic ability
Student comes to every class prepared, wearing proper athletic  shoes, and demonstrates a high level of conduct, attitude and effort. Student comes to every class prepared; wearing proper athletic  shoes, and demonstrates a consistent level of conduct, attitude and effort. Student comes to most classes prepared, wearing proper athletic  shoes, and demonstrates an inconsistent level of conduct, attitude and effort for their age. Student does not come to class prepared, wearing proper athletic  shoes, and not yet demonstrating needed level of attitude, conduct and effort for their age.
Spanish Student always shows effort and recall of Spanish lessons. Student shows effort and recall of Spanish lessons most of the time. Student shows effort and recall of Spanish lessons some of the time. Student rarely shows effort and recall of Spanish lessons.
